On March 5, 6 and 7, Van Dijk heating once again participated in the HortiContact trade fair in Gorinchem (NL). It is a real meeting place for Dutch and Belgian growers and the supplying industry. Ton van Dijk and Joek van der Zeeuw speak of a successful event, which attracted more participants and visitors than last year.
"We supply primarily to installation companies and are not in daily contact with the end users of our products," says Ton van Dijk. "During HortiContact, we actually get a lot of growers in our booth and we are very happy with that. We learn what their needs and questions are and they learn what we and our products can do for them. Some products, like our AVS systems, require customization and we often pull together with the installer involved to advise the customer and familiarize them with how to use the installation. The nice thing is that we meet our local distributors as well as end users at this show."
From the questions of growers, the crew was well able to identify which topics are topical now. "It will not surprise anyone that we received questions about energy saving and moisture control using AVS systems, about thermal water disinfection with ECOSTER and about sodium removal in closed water systems with our SOREM ion exchangers”, says cto Joek van der Zeeuw. All in all, it was busy, fun and useful, so we look back on this exhibition edition with pleasure. If you happened to have missed us and still want to drop by, you can do so at GreenTech in Amsterdam, where we will be present from June 11 to 13. Of course, we are also happy to welcome visitors from other countries. The coffee is always ready, so please do walk in and ask your questions."
