Facts and no ‘gut feelings’

At Van Dijk heating, we believe it is important to give the best advice about CO2 and dehumidification systems based on facts. For years we have been performing extensive calculations to optimally distribute CO2 in the greenhouse. Since last year we have added a new model witch includes an extensive calculation for dehumidification.

Innovative calculation model: ACT

Our comprehensive calculation model, the ACT, provides insight into the moisture and energy balance on the greenhouse. This is based on local conditions, the cultivation strategy and the combination of years of weather data, technical greenhouse data and an evaporation model. With these results, the expected moisture challenge can actually be substantiated. It also allows us to know what the ideal dehumidification system should look like. These calculations regularly lead to new insights by calculating different scenarios.

Analysis

But we look further. For optimal operation of the dehumidification installation we have developed the Strategy Scan together with LetsGrow.com. This analysis helps to make optimal use of the dehumidification installation and to achieve even greater returns.
