Configuration tool supports customization of AVS installations

Every horticultural company is different. All those different greenhouses, crops, heat sources, distribution systems and location-specific weather conditions involve a whole lot of calculation work to get the implementation and dimensioning of a system like AVS right. Van Dijk heating has recently employed a state-of-the-art configuration tool called CTA,  which helps its engineers to customize AVS configurations for clients.

Once the operational variables and the known weather features of the location have been entered, the tool calculates how a certain AVS unit will perform throughout the year and what that means for the company’s greenhouse climate and energy management. This makes it easier to deliver customized products and services for new-build greenhouses and modernization projects for growers, installers and greenhouse construction companies.
